Corn Nut Creek are a powerhouse female alt-country/Americana duo, hailing from America and Australia. The band features the artful banjo work of Tanya Bradley, paired with the deft fiddle and soulful vocals of Danielle Vita, 1st place winner of 2020 Deer Creek Fiddler’s Convention vocals award. The duo’s original songs tell raw stories of womanhood which are transporting, honest and effortless. Their original music has been awarded as a category finalist and juror’s top five selection in the 2020 Blues & Roots Radio International Song Contest. Their story is unique; they met in Hong Kong and performed as the Dulcet Tone Collective, then moved back to their respective countries and began writing music together remotely. After four years collaborating in different countries, they reunited—this time in Australia. They have been featured on ABC Country’s ‘Saturday Night Country’, Bluegrass Country Radio’s ‘Foggy Hollow’, WDVX Tennessee’s ‘Sweetgrass’ and Blues & Roots Radio, among many others. They are currently working on their second album, set to be released in July 2021.
