Corn Nut Creek are a powerful and evocative all female Americana-infused country folk duo of fiddle and banjo. Their music displays the intricately crafted American Old-Time style of songwriting. The band features the artful banjo work of Tanya Bradley, paired with the deft fiddle work and soulful lilting vocals of Danielle Vita.
Their songs tell raw stories of womanhood, which are transporting, honest and effortless. Their story is a unique one in that they are and American and an Australian who met in Hong Kong, then moved back to their respective countries only to be reunited and now both living in Australia. Danielle was the first place winner in the vocal category of the 2020 Deer Creek Fiddler's Convention, held in the USA. Corn Nut Creek have released their debut EP Feels Like Travelling Home in March 2020 and are planning an Australian tour in 2021.
Due to COVID 19, we do not currently have any live performances booked.
